On Thursday 31 March 2016, Les Jones, who is standing for the position of PCC for the West Midlands, joined Akaal Sidhu out on the campaign trail in Harborne. Akaal and Les have a long history, having been running mates in the 2014 PCC elections.
Akaal is determined to develop some civic pride into our local community. He says: "Harborne Ward is a pleasant and desirable place to live and we must do all we can to protect and preserve its unique character.'"
