The Edgbaston Conservative Association is launching a new initiative to bring together professionals who share centre-right views in an informal environment. It is hoped that this will prove to be the first of a regular social for like minded individuals from across the city. The event is primarily targeted at those under 40 but all are welcome.
The first event will be taking place at 'Next Door' at The Plough on Harborne High Street on Friday 3rd June, commencing at 1930. The evening will include exclusive use of the private rooms, with a dedicated member of bar staff on hand throughout, as well as a buffet, including a selection of stone baked pizzas, salads, chips, and sides. Tickets are £15.
Neil Shastri-Hurst and Oli Dixon are organising the event and are keen to promote a relaxed atmosphere where friendships can be formed. Dr Shastri-Hurst commented, "The Party's lifeblood is its membership. It is vitally important to keep this growing and attract new members. Whether they choose to be involved purely on a social level, become a regular campaigner, or even run for office, all are welcome."
