The Edgbaston Conservative Association are thrilled to be hosting a Dinner Night on behalf of the Birmingham Conservatives. The Conservative candidate for West Midlands Mayor, Andy Street, will be present to introduce our guest of honour, a Senior Cabinet Minister. The event will be held at Opus Restaurant in Birmingham on 1st December 2016 and is open to the wider Birmingham and West Midlands membership.
Andy, a proud son of Birmingham, has combined a career with John Lewis, Britain’s most successful workers’ co-operative, with a host of major economic development roles, working with both local and national government. He has been the Chair of the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership since 2011 through which he has helped to build relationships that have underpinned the economic growth of the region. Furthermore, he has been lead non-executive director for the Department for Communities and Local Government as well as a member of the Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Group.
The evening will commence at 1900 with a drinks reception before settling down for a dinner at 1930. Individual tickets are sold at £75 per person. Wine can be pre-ordered in advance of the event through the restaurant. The dress code for the evening is lounge suits or equivalent. Cheques are payable in advance of the event to “The Edgbaston Conservative Association”. Alternatively, BACS payments can be made on request.
If you would like to join us for this event please email [email protected] by Thursday 18th November. We look forward to seeing you on 1st December 2016.
